Update Jan 30, 2020: All HotSmarts sold starting this year are dishwasher-safe Update Jan 30, 2020: Likewise, All HotSmart Plates are preheatable to 150 F in a regular restaurant plate warmer or plate dispenser. They can even be preheated in your own oven but be careful not to exceed the 150 F   (The thermostats are not very accurate in stoves). IMPORTANT: When preheated in your microwave oven, the plates require only 1 to 1:15  minutes and stay hot for 1/2 hour and can be handled safely while hot with your bare hands. When preheating the HotSmarts in restaurant warmers, it may take up to 15 minutes of preheating and the whole plate will get hot, so mittens will be required which should not be any problem since restaurant
