CROSS SECTION of HEAT RETENTIVE PLATE

Image
CROSS SECTION OF A HEAT RETENTIVE PLATE (Click to enlarge) http://doiop.com/hrpphotos after you click the link you can right click the picture to see it from different angles and lights, you can even see a transparent picture. Anybody can make a plate with a groove, a heater which is a simple mix of clay with iron filings and a ceramic base.

HOTSMART FRANCHISES?

Guess what?... Nobody was interested (Maybe not even now, anyway, it is over) Everybody knows what a franchise is: basically you pay many thousands of dollars for the right to sell hamburgers, tacos or pizza in a corner (you do not even have exclusive rights). Since I do not have funds for applying for patents in all countries, I am offering (This is a limited time offer) the exclusive right to import, manufacture, sell, distribute my patented Hot S mart (TM) products for the cost of filing in the country of your choice ($5,000 to $10,000 licensing fee) plus negotiable royalties (5% for the first 5 years). I own the priority rights for all patent cooperation treaty countries (PCT application). I am offering entire countries not just a corner. This is a patented technology, you will have the monopoly. (You won't have to compete with the guy in the next corner selling hamburgers). DEADLINE FOR THIS OFFER IS OCT 15, 2007 (The USA , Canada and China are no longer available f

BLACK HEAT RETENTIVE PLATE

Image
http://www.hotsmartusa.com (I replaced the image of a black prototype with a newer one) THE JOHNY CASH COMPONENTS (Guess why I call it that) I even glazed the heater in black (If you look carefully you will see it on the base), It was sealed using Bondmaster(TM) ECCOBOND A359, a one part (actually two premixed) epoxy that cures in 5 minutes at 350 F. It works just fine. for this prototype I reduced the amount of iron filings in half and I added some charcoal (I had just read that the price of metals is increasing).

HEAT RETENTIVE PLATE

Image
(Sorry, photo is no longer available) HEAT RETENTIVE PLATE Very simple, white with black base, I would call it "plain vanilla" however it works very nice. Again, zap one minute and enjoy.I have used my prototypes for about 4 years now. for the real thing: type: hotsmart amazon or http://www.amazon.com/InstaHot-minute-PLUS-Hot-Plates/dp/B001VE1YM2

HEAT RETENTIVE COFFEE MUG

Image
(Sorry, photo no longer available) HEAT RETENTIVE COFFEE MUG Keeps your coffee hot to the last sip without overheating it. This particular mug was purchased and converted. Better shapes can be attained when the components are specifically designed to fit. (Uses the same technology as HotSmart plates).

CERAMIC HOT PLATE, HEAT RETENTIVE

Image
HOT PLATE Ceramic heat retentive plate see: http://www.heatstoragedish.com http://www.heatretentiveplates.com Practically everything is clay; the heater in the cavity contains some iron filings. it is made out of red earthenware, but white earthenware and other ceramics can be used.

THERMOGRAM OF HEAT RETENTIVE PLATE

Image
THERMOGRAM OF A HEAT RETENTIVE PLATE (Click link above) The colors show the thermal gradient that keep the plate from breaking due to thermal shock. Temperatures as high as 230 F can be reached at the center (With just one minute preheating) while the rim does not get hot for easy handling. The photo was taken during the cooling down phase and does not reflect the maximum temperature reached. obviously, if you do not want it that hot, you have the option of preheating for less than a minute.

Waterless Baby Dish

Image
Babies Will Have Their Own Hot S mart Plate The Plate does not need hot water works better and is a lot simpler to use , needs just about 30 seconds preheating time in the microwave. About 4 million babies are born in USA every year. Potential market size: by capturing just 10% of the market represents 400,000 units/year (It is an excellent present for a baby) but why am I talking about 10%?... this is the best baby dish in the world. Obviously I have only the  conception of the idea (I have been very busy with other priorities), but the technology has been tested in: Heat Retentive Plates, Coffee Mugs and Tortilla Warmers. (I may decide to manufacture them myself) but t h is is a very special market and I do not have time for everything If you are interested in manufacturing , get in touch  jjrb230@sbcglobal.net The  invention is patented , I am willing to license it for this particular market or in other type of business cooperation; see Instahot 30 min plus plate as

HotSmart Heat Storing Tortilla Warmers (Patented)

Image
Have you seen the warming component in a "tortilla warmer"  (I haven't) (Tortilla warmers have no heater) HotSmart Plates work perfectly as tortilla warmers . we will have to design something that looks like a traditional "tortilla warmer" which doesn't warm anything but only attempts to keep heat from escaping from the tortillas. In other words: We will have to disguise something that works into the traditional thing people has been educated to believe THERE ARE NO REAL TORTILLA WARMERS, ONLY TORTILLA INSULATORS (The tortilla warmer name is a marketing name) HotSmart plates are real tortilla warmers (They work just fine as tortilla warmers) A common plastic tortilla warmer relies only on insulation to try to keep the heat stored in the tortillas from escaping, but the heat stored in the tortillas is very little because of their low thermal mass, my invention captures lots of heat fast and releases it slowly, at a controlled rate. This is not a theory,
