This is another option to seal HotSmart Plates; I'm sure there are many more available, all it takes is some browsing the internet and a few phone calls.
AREMCO-BOND 315-B
MIX 315-B BASE RESIN AND 315-A ACTIVATOR IN A 100 TO 5.5 RATIO BY WEIGHT. ABRADE AND CLEAN SURFACE THOROUGHLY.
APPLY A 5-10 MIL GLUE LINE AND CLAMP ASSEMBLY TO REDUCE AIR ENTRAPMENT.
(YOU CAN STACK THE PLATES UPSIDE DOWN IN A WOODEN FIXTURE AND PUT A BRICK ON THE PLATE AT THE TOP)
ANY OF THE FOLLOWING CURE SCHEDULES MAY BE USED:
- 2 HOURS @ 100 C + 2 HOURS @ 175 C;
- 8 HOURS @ 150 C (I recommend this cure schedule)
