COMPOSITION OF THE MICROWAVE ABSORBING MATERIAL

A MIX OF RED EARTHENWARE WITH 33% OF IRON FILINGS BY WEIGHT
(Simple enough? Well, I will give you some details below)

This are recommended for a 10.5" general purpose plate which by the way, is an excellent steak plate

The heater is attached to the plate like a ceiling fan
(this is only one possible configuration)

DETAILS:

1. The Red earthenware already contains some Fe2O3 which is a polar molecule and gets aligned in electromagnetic fields like the one created.

2. I obtained my first iron filings at a brake shop (for free); I will tell you where to obtain industrial quantities

3. Add some soaked shredded paper to the mix to keep the heater from crumbling during handling (prior to firing them in a kiln. The paper will leave carbon traces which will make the disk conductive.

4. Mix thoroughly by any mechanical means (pug mill)so that the iron grit, the paper and the humidity are uniformly distributed. If miked by hand use the "wedging method"

N. I will keep adding details please stay tuned...
